BRITMUN SECRETARIATS
Meet Our Secretariats
Our secretariats have worked diligently to make BRITMUN the best experience it could be for our delegates.

Secretary-General
Lily Kim
Fellow delegates, honourable directors, and most esteemed guests.

It is my greatest honour to serve as the Secretary-General for BRITMUN. My name is Lily Kim, year 13 at The British School of Beijing, Shunyi.

MUN has transformed my life completely. It opened my eyes to the bigger world I could not have possibly seen while just sitting on my desk. Starting from 3 to over 40 members in 2 years, MUN was a huge part of my high school journey that taught me something beyond what I would learn from textbooks.
BRITMUN 2026 will be my wish-come true to provide fellow delegates the same memorable experience I had.

Welcome back to BRITMUN.

Secretary-General
Wendy Chen
Esteemed directors, distinguished delegates, and honourable guests,
I am Wenqi (Wendy) Chen. I am honoured to serve as the Secretary-General of BRITMUN 2026. I am currently a Year 13 student from The British School of Beijing, Shunyi.
2026 will be the 7th year since my first MUN conference and the 4rd year since I started to run the BSB MUN club alongside Lily. Having progressed from a delegate to a chair and, ultimately, to a secretariat, I want to assure all delegates that proposing solutions to problems the world faces is an achievement. I hope that all delegates can express themselves freely at the conference, contributing to global development.
Bringing BRITMUN back on schedule after COVID-19 was not easy. I hope that BRITMUN will be a great experience for everyone.

Deputy Secretary-General
Eric Xiao
Honorable directors, fellow delegates, and most esteemed guests,
I am Eric Xiao, and it is a privilege to serve as the Deputy Secretary-General for the 2nd iteration of BRITMUN at BSB.
2026 will be my 3rd year since my first MUN conference starting as a delegate. MUN has truly changed my life; from debating with other delegates to researching about my country, I've understood more about the world and me as a person.
I hope that BRITMUN will be an oppurtunity for all delegates to gain diplomatic skills and knowledge; challenge, research and debate as we work together for a better future in a fragile world. Most importantly, I encourage you all to speak up and express your countries' opinions openly with confidence and passion.
It is my utmost honour to invite you to BRITMUN II. I hope that BRITMUN will be a great experience for all.
