Delegates collaborate on strategies to reduce poverty, improve global trade systems, and ensure fair access to economic opportunities for all nations.

Maximillian Walenkamp
Hello, I am Maximilian (Max) Walenkamp, a Year 9 attending the British School of Beijing, Shunyi. I am honoured to serve as your President Chair of the Second General Assembly at BRITMUN II. This will be my eight Model United Nations Conference, and my second BRITMUN.
Throughout this conference, I hope to create a space, alongside my Deputy-Chair, where first-timers are introduced and given the confidence to speak and develop diplomatic skills, while giving experienced delegates the stage to sharpen their diplomatic skills and to challenge perspectives.
I look forward to meeting each of you and witnessing the insightful debate and resolutions that will emerge in our committee. I will see you delegates in March!

Hey Delegates,
I’m Henri Labarre, and I’m a 10th grader at Dulwich College Beijing.
I’ve taken part in MUN since 9th grade and participated in many conferences throughout the past two years. Over the course of my MUN journey, I’ve not only significantly improved my public speaking skills, but I’ve also gained a strong understanding of geopolitical relations.
I’m honored to serve as the Deputy President of General Assembly 2 for the second iteration of BRITMUN. I can’t wait to witness the collaboration, curiosity, and passion from every delegate in the committee.
