My name is Yoyo Men, a current junior in BWYA, and I am honored to serve as the President of the Human Rights Council this year at BRITMUN.
Over the past few years, I have participated in several official conferences, gaining extensive experience both as a delegate and a president. This dual perspective has equipped me with a deep understanding of the MUN process and the skills necessary to foster productive discussions. I will do my utmost to support delegates in achieving their full potential, ensuring a memorable and impactful MUN experience for everyone involved.
Under the theme of this conference, as we gather to discuss the critical issue of preventing the domino effect of human rights violations, please remember that your voices and actions today have the power to create a chain reaction of positive change for future generations.
As the President of the Human Rights Council, I urge all delegates to get involved as much as possible. Engage with the topic, make speeches and amendments, and ask tons of POIs!
I look forward to seeing you all at BRITMUN, and good luck to everyone!
