President

Pauline Ostermann

Extinguished delegates,

My name is Pauline Ostermann, and I am honored to be serving as your President of the WHA (World Health Assembly) for BRITMUN II. This is my third year participating in MUN and I have developed a strong interest in global health governance and international cooperation. The WHA is the decision-making body of the World Health Organization, organizing and addressing critical health challenges and setting global health priorities. This year, we are focusing on addressing the global mental health crisis and improving maternal and child health, and I cannot wait to hear all your speeches, POIs and resolutions. As a president, my goal is to foster a respectful and friendly environment, where everyone can learn and grow.

I look forward to seeing you all!

Deputy President

Lucy Kim

Hello everyone,

My name is Lucy Kim, and it is a distinct honor to serve as your Deputy President for the World Health Assembly at BRITMUN. I am an 8th-grade student at the International School of Beijing, having begun my Model UN journey in the 7th grade. I recall the challenges of my first conference, such as mastering procedure and speaking before a committee, yet it was an experience that proved foundational to my growth. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to now support all delegates in having a similarly constructive and rewarding committee experience.

I look forward to a productive and memorable conference with all of you!
