The World Health Assembly concentrates on global public health issues. It covers disease prevention, universal healthcare, and responses to health crises. Delegates draft policies and initiatives to combat health inequalities, improve medical infrastructure, and ensure effective international coordination during pandemics and other health emergencies.

1. Reducing the rising burden of mental health disorders of post-pandemic societies through strengthened health care systems.

2. Addressing the negative impacts of urbanisation on health of population in developing countries.

Hi everyone.

My name is Irina, and it is my esteemed honor to serve as your president for WHA at BRITMUN. I'm currently a 9th grader attending the International School of Beijing. This is my second year in MUN and this years BRITMUN will mark as my 8th conference.

Participating in MUN has been one of the best decisions I have ever made; it has truly transformed me into a more knowledgeable and confident person while allowing me to gain many new friendships. It is my sincere hope that you all experience similar growth through BRITMUN, along with an enjoyable time.

Hello everyone!

My name is Joanna, and I’m currently a 9th-grade student at Keystone Academy.

This is my fifth year in debate and MUN, and it’s been an incredible journey so far. I’ve had the opportunity to both debate and judge at numerous conferences and tournaments. I’ve always believed that it goes far beyond my awards, but it deepened my love for diplomacy, public speaking, and global issues.

As your chair, I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to this conference and to collaborate with all of you. I can’t wait to meet everyone.
